The Double Cross Sweater Dress

2117

“When I created the Double Cross Cardigan, I was struck by how the stitch pattern flattered my figure. This led me to the idea of incorporating the design into a sweater dress, which turned out to be a great decision.

The Double Cross Sweater Dress showcases the spiked double crochet stitch in a beautifully textured criss-cross pattern. The sleeves and waist can be custom-sized, allowing you to create a sweater dress that makes you feel confident and stunning.

The pattern includes instructions for X-small through 5X-large, with the option to adjust the waist and hip circumference as needed. The finished length can also be customized, and there are various arm circumference options to choose from.

For this pattern, I used Mayflower Cotton Merino Classic yarn, but any comparable yarn can be used. You will need approximately 1200-2000 yards of yarn, as well as a 5mm crochet hook, stitch markers, a yarn needle, scissors, and a measuring tape.

I have thoroughly tested this pattern with the help of experienced crocheters, and I have included many helpful photos within the pattern. If you encounter any difficulties, feel free to contact me for assistance.”
