Let Your Light Shine – Free Pattern

2012

Hey my loves! What a pleasure to meet you again. How are you? Are you able to set aside time during the week to keep up with your practice? We hope so, after all, this is the only way to evolve. Craftsmanship is like this, we can read several patterns, but only practice helps us to improve. That’s why we need to challenge ourselves and choose techniques, more complicated patterns. Today we have Let Your Light Shine. Look what a beautiful quilt, super delicate and with a lovely pattern.

With the children’s theme, it is perfect in the children’s room. And quilts you can use quilts in different ways. Be it in bed, as a crib cover and even on the wall decoration. That’s right, wall quilts are on the rise and can be an excellent option to decorate the room. Choose fabrics with prints of the same theme as the decoration and rock this pattern. To make this quilt you will use the piecing technique.

Do not know what it is? People explain to you. Piecing is the term used to describe the act of assembling and stitching pieces of fabric together, by hand or machine, to make a quilt block. It can be as simple as sewing squares together. Quilters use a variety of piecing techniques to achieve the desired results for the quilt they are making.

Piecing effectively and efficiently can be done using tools to improve accuracy starting with cutting the fabric and the seam allowance. It is just one of the foundational elements of making a quilt. Take the time to learn the tips and tricks for Patchwork to avoid frustrations later when assembling the quilt blocks. Following the instructions, you will end up with a 46” x 56” quilt. The alterations to this quilt are a little more difficult to make, because we are using an entire frame in the center.

To have a smaller quilt, you can choose to decrease the border or choose a smaller frame. These are basic changes that we need to make and they are not difficult at all. Shaw we start?
